The magical light trail at Domaine National de Saint-Cloud has returned to the delight of visitors, offering an enchanting evening of immersive and interactive experiences. Nestled on the picturesque banks of the Seine to the west of Paris, this beloved event invites guests to “Come to the heart of the park to dive into the magic of the holidays.” With 25 distinct elements designed to immerse visitors in the festive season, the light trail provides a captivating journey of discovery and memory-making for families and friends.
Les Gardiens des Bois Holograms
LCI Productions worked alongside IMG Events to design and deliver the Les Gardiens des Bois Enchanted Forest, a unique and mesmerising area of the trail. This section features forest creature holograms, including deer, squirrels and birds, who act as the Guardians of the Woods. The holographic animals appear to emerge seamlessly from the undergrowth, creating a magical and lifelike interaction for guests as they explore the forest.
The technical execution of this immersive feature relied on 16 expertly concealed holofans, each placed in weatherproof enclosures to ensure durability in the outdoor environment. These devices are carefully hidden within the woodland setting, making the holograms appear as though they are part of the natural landscape. The original content, created by LCI’s design team, brings the Guardians to life with captivating animations that blend seamlessly with the environment, adding to the sense of enchantment.
